What We Do.

See what we’ve done and where we’re going.

Before...

We offered education consulting services to teachers, professors, and administrators looking to foster dialogue and curious and constructive disagreement, improve the quality of discourse, or initiate culture shifts toward curiosity inside and out of their classrooms.

We also provided customized resources for students, teachers, and professors to support their efforts toward curious and constructive disagreement, and productive engagement with polarizing topics.

Now…

Now we are in the process of figuring out where to go next. Campus climates in the fall and spring of 2023-2024 have demonstrated, perhaps more strongly than ever, the need to cultivate the skills — and the will — for curious engagement across differences, and constructive disagreement.

During the summer of 2024, our team will research the a) the intellectual underpinnings of this work, b) areas in which we can make a difference, and c) the feasibility of their implementation.

Stay tuned! If you would like to be involved in our research and development, and/or have specific questions, please email Shira Hoffer at shoffer@multipartisaned.org

We are home toThe Hotline for Israel/Palestine

HIP is an educational initiative dedicated to transparent, multi-partisan, and dialogue-focused engagement with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We believe that lack of information and preconceived notions are barriers to nuanced conversations — barriers that can lead to hate on all sides — and that education and dialogue are the best ways to counter that hate. However, it’s often hard to know where to start.

Through our texting hotline service and educational resources, we teach people how to educate themselves by answering questions, providing resources from many perspectives, and helping people develop their own informed and nuanced positions.
